Alumni Excel During Freshmen Campaign
Titan Class of 2006 alumni Molly Franklin and Amanda Meehan moved on the
collegiate ranks seamlessly in the fall of 2006, greatly impacting their
new teams.
Molly
Franklin, a 2006 NSCAA/Adidas HS All-American and Maryland State Player
of the Year, moved on to the powerful Atlantic Coast
Conference (ACC)
where she wore the kit of the
Clemson University Tigers. As a freshmen, she led the Tigers in
scoring with 6 goals and 4 assists. This included the game winning
goal in overtime over NC State. She helped Clemson advance to the
NCAA Tournament Elite Eight and a final NSCAA/Adidas #14 National
Ranking. For her performance she was named to the Soccerbuzz
All-Freshmen Regional All-American Team.
Amanda Meehan, a 2006 1st Team All-State selection and 2-time Titan Team
