Constantoulakis Named THS Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year

For the second consecutive year,
a Titans girl's soccer player has been named the THS Female
Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Senior Captain
Leeza
Constantoulakis joins
Amanda Meehan (2006 recipient) as the 2007 award winner.
Leeza will be honored on Sunday, April
29th along with recipients from
other county schools at the
Morningside Inn.
A four-year captain, Constantoulakis is the lone Titan to have played
and started in all 58 varsity games in the school's history and
captained the side to two-state championships.
In 2006, Leeza was named a MACS 1st Team All-State selection and was
named to the Washington Post All-Met team for the second consecutive
year. She is a 3-time All-MVAL 1st Team selection and was named
the Frederick News-Post Player of the Year in 2006.
She also currently serves as the captain of the tennis team and has also
been a member of the basketball and swimming programs.
With a courseload filled with AP and Honors classes, Constantoulalis has
set herself apart as the model of a THS student. She currently
serves as the SGA President and is a member of the National Honor
Society. She will continue her education at the University of
Maryland. |
