Former Titan Emmy Simpkins Commits to Rutgers University

June 16, 2007...  Former Titan Goalkeeper Emmy Simpkins has verbally committed to continue her academic and athletic career at Rutgers University.  Simpkins, a first team all-state goalkeeper in 2005, helped lead the Titans to State Championships in 2004 & 2005.  Following her sophomore year, she moved to Charlotte, NC with her family.

Simpkins currently holds almost all Titan Goalkeeper records including allowing only 5 goals in 18 games during the 2005 season.  She was also the Frederick News-Post player of the year for the 2005 season.
