Alumni Open Collegiate Season

Titan alumni opened their 2007 collegiate campaigns this past weekend.
2006 alumni Molly Franklin opened up the season for NCAA Division I
Clemson University. Franklin, Clemson's leading scorer in 2006,
picked up where she left off. The Tigers opened the season
with a 4-0 victory over Liberty University. Franklin, manned her
central midfield position and recorded 2 assists on the day for the
Tigers while also taking 2 shots on goal.
Jessie
Nino, a 2007 Titan graduate, opened her collegiate career in exciting
fashion this past weekend. Starting up front, Nino scored
3 goals in Wesley College's 9-0 victory over the College of Notre Dame.
On Sunday, Nino made her second start and helped lead Wesley
to a 2-0 start with a 2-0 victory over Washington College.
2006 alumni Amanda Meehan began where she left the 2006 season. As
a freshmen, Meehan was an All-MAAC rookie selection as a starting wing
back for Loyola College. Meehan started in both of the Greyhounds matches
against James Madison and Old Dominion Universities. Meehan helped
keep Loyola in these contests before falling 1-0 to JMU and 2-1 to ODU.
2006
Titan Team MVP Chrissy Conrad opened her collegiate career this past
weekend for Frostburg State University. Starting one game and
seeing significant action in the other, Conrad helped Frostburg compete
with National powers College of New Jersey (3-1 loss) and Elizabethtown
College (1-0 loss) in the teams opening matches of the season.
2007 alumni Cami Griffin is a member of the Towson University team which
opened the season with two commanding victories, a 5-1 victory over UMBC
and a 4-0 victory over Eastern Kentucky. Griffin has been out with a hip
injury for the past few weeks and is in the process of returning to
action.
