Parry Nets Hat Trick in 5-0 Rout of St. John's-Catholic Prep
  - Highlights coming soon
September 21, 2009...  Freshmen forward Aaran Parry recorded her first career hat trick as the the Titans struck early and often in a 5-0 victory over St. John's - Catholic Prep.

The Titans struck early as just ninety seconds into the game, senior forward Michelle Rock's pass split two Viking backs and put Parry in alone with the keeper, who she proceeded to dribble and deposit the ball in the empty net.  Just two minutes later Rock got her second assist as sophomore Katie King took Rock's corner and beat the Viking keeper to the far post to increase the lead to 2-0.

The Titans continued to pressure the Viking net and in the 32nd minute, Rock finally got her own goal beating the keeper from 15 yards on an assist from junior midfielder Claire Kelly. The Titans almost made it four in the final minute of the first half when senior back Brittany Clemons made a forty yard run with the ball before putting Rock in alone on goal, but the Viking keeper came up with the breakaway save.

In the 2nd half the Titans continued to assert pressure and won a penalty when junior Annie Wickett was taken down in the box.  Parry notched her second goal of the evening on the ensuing penalty.  She completed the hat trick ten minutes later when she put home a corner from freshmen midfielder Holly Kipe.  Kipe had an impressive showing off the bench for the Titans with her strong technique and outstanding service on restarts.

Senior midfielder Carly Schaub and junior goalkeeper Emilee Jewell saw their first action of the year in the final ten minutes,  returning from injuries that had kept them sidelined for the past eight months.  Senior goalkeeper Sarah Jo Hayden recorded her third Shutout of the season.

The JV Titans improved to 2-1-1 on the season with a 4-0 victory over St. John's.  Freshmen midfielder Ashley Babco led the way with 3 goals while fellow freshmen Miranda Malagari added the other goal.  Sophomore goalkeeper Elizabeth Ulan recorded the shutout.
